this is a few days old, so you probably have all seen it, but here's adaptive path's interface for a future browser. i suppose it's snazzy, but is it a good thing that i had no idea what was going on until the voiceover kicked in? or maybe i'm too stupid for the future.
the tough job of a subtitler
if you are looking for a quick, free, nice-looking word count/word cloud, wordle is fun to play with. here's one of obama's berlin speech. this is another spin-off from the ibm group that did many eyes. wordle is not as informative as many eyes' word count, but it is prettier.
"forget the film, watch the titles" a collection of film title sequences. not especially extensive nor a pleasure to navigate, but... you know... um... you might like it?
