some chris matthews awesome. if he exists for a purpose, this is it. (background: they are talking about bush's comments in israel about appeasement that many thought was a veiled attack on barack obama. longer version with more context here)

This product and its intended purpose are pretty goofy, but maybe it could be hacked & adapted for some music-related stage effects? Jonbro, I'm looking in your direction. You need a homemade light show to rival that of Chromelodeon.

dudes - do any of you listen to Subtle? I went to a show tonight to see the opener, Black Moth Super Rainbow (who are awesome and hail from round pgh) and the headliner was this dude and his band, subtle.

it didn't at first strike me as a great pairing for bands - black moth is more of a psychedelic feel, and subtle is sortof political, lyrically complicated instrumental pieces - but they worked together alright. they both have heavy mostly analog-sounding electronic components that play nice with a really rich band setup - flute, tenor sax, upright bass, along with all the usual bass and drums and whatnot.

just seein if anyone else listened and what you thought :)

sorry the wire thread got closed, you can continue it in the replies here.

I am done with season 3 of the wire, I need to start watching it again. I got season 4 ready to roll as soon as I lift the weight that is LOST. Although me and billy have a nice method of just watching the episodes that have good summaries on lostpedia.

NICE tIMING TIVO!
