following up on a conversation from last night regarding Mountain Dew - Wikipedia answers all.
The term "mountain dew" is an old southern/appalachian phrase for moonshine liquor, and the soda was initially marketed as "zero proof moonshine" in 1948 and had pictures of hillbillies on the bottle until 1973.
That page also has the lyrics to various version of the mountain dew song I was talking about...I'll play you the CD I have with Doc Watson playing and singing with two of his buddies...

I don't really know.
I fiddled with it a while, changed the mac address, plugged it into the cable modem, unplugged the cable modem, and then plugged the cable modem back in.
at that point it worked.
wow! What the hell was wrong with it?
ok, I made it back last night, fixed the router this morning, looking forward to seeing all of you later this evening.
