I'm out like a scout. I'll report in from the UK with pictures and raunchy highly fictionalized stories about my conquests.

The Sprout Fund Presents Giant Inflatable Art Project

Charles' comments: If they're inflatable, shoundn't the theme be "Pittsburgh blows?" Just kidding. One of the best things about the Sprout Fund is that it encourages creative people to surpass its vision. This means you.

event type: Calls for Submissions/Participation:Call for Artists

The Sprout Fund and Pittsburgh Roars are making a call to local and regional residents to design larger-than-life (20-30feet tall) works of temporary, inflatable public art that embody the spirit and themes of Pittsburgh Roars.

when: Deadline: Sat Jan 14: 4PM
where: The Sprout Fund map it | neighborhood: Garfield
it'll cost you: $free | ages: all ages
produced by: The Sprout Fund

that pic i just uploaded is said to the the ancestor of the banjo.

and the movie is of roscoe holcomb, a big name in the old-time-appalachian world. it sort of shows the context of how country/appalachian music developed...
