for those that care, I upgraded rails from a beta version to 2.something, and the site is now running on passenger which should translate to more stability. Obviously, if you run into bugs, please let me know and I will see if I can stomp them out. :D

I have a friend who was asking me for some suggestions for resources on digital ethnography, particularly related to communities of practice. She mentioned that "our technology research and development team sometimes make products that don't match real world needs and I would really like to bridge that gap."
So, it has been a few years since I've had to do anything on these issues so I am hoping you all might have a few suggestions. Agata? Andrea?
