an interesting discussion about the role of the "expert" given their failure in anticipating the current crises.
americans' faith in institutions is eroding. who can we trust now? is this the end of "the expert?" or are we going to see a more stringent criteria (perhaps qualifications + track record + analysis of motivations/incentives for saying a certain thing)?
