I hope it is not gauche to start two new threads in a row, but I wanted to separate my politics and my video games.

totally gauche.
politics are videogames are politics.
i think i've been whining about location aware to-do lists for a while. looks like i just gotta wait one more month (then shell out the cash for omnifocus? not gonna happen, but anyway). http://www.tuaw.com/2008/06/10/omnifocus-for-iphone-will-be-location-aware/
though, this isn't probably as location aware as i'd like... i don't want something that will point me to a grocery store when i want to buy stuff, but rather something that says "hey! you're going past the grocery store now! remember to buy stuff!"
then again, my life is too simple to need this stuff.
i think paying $599 has certainly put me on some apple dupe/dope list.
some of these population density numbers are ridiculous http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_metropolitan_areas_by_population
"Mr. Rodger's neighborhood is brought to you by Fannie Mae!"
on the internet, PBS runs ads: http://bits.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/06/11/pbs-goes-commercial-on-hulu/
"Imagine someone created an award ceremony for every possible use of paper, with awards for the best supermarket tabloid, the most disingenuous autobiography by a former government official, the most comprehensive bibliography and the best folding for a paper airplane.
That’s what the Webby Awards are like, just substitute the Internet for paper." [bits blog]
I love Stephen's acceptance speech for the Webby award, "Me. Me. Me. Me. Me."
yikes. that "mirrors edge" game looks like another reason to get a PS3 this summer.
yeah, this game looks fucking sweet. is gta 4 on ps3 as well?
Looks like it. As in, "it would run better on my laptop but for windows vista and IE6 and you wont get GTA4 or Metal Gear Solid 4 inside 2 years" Playstation 3.
Fuck.
