so... as part of my trying out firefox as a replacement for safari, i noticed this:
does safari auto-saturate pictures? what's going on? (this is one screen shot of the two windows overlapping slightly.) i have so many questions about the web today.
nah, there is a thing called color profiles that safari does not correctly support. This is built into jpg and tiff and gif and so on. so, if you open that jpg in photoshop, it should look more like the firefox one then the safari one.
iirc.. it might be the other way around.
this is an unbelievable pain in the ass for developers.
