i wanna see wall-e so bad!!! anyway, the (fake) company from the movie has a pretty great website, full of great parody of large corporations: http://www.buynlarge.com/

because it's detroit flash city, i couldn't grab text, but here's a screen grab of their footer, to give you an idea of what's up:

Z, I am in for the Wall-E. I'm the only one in town this weekend -- Onny went on the road trip with Jonbro.

Wall-E makes me very excited. sound design will take over the world! it's showing at the film festival here this weekend, so i might be able to see it tomorrow. otherwise i'll have to wait until i get to the states.

too bad for dukes. when i was there my ratio of ¢25 pabst/day was alarmingly high. good times.

also, i don't know how well it works to link to a facebook video, but if you guys want to laugh at me here is your chance:

Haha, that video was ridiculous, Yann! You do look very composed as you take a good clobbering to the cranium.

We still have the clear plastic Pabst cups from Duke's. As glasses break, they make up an increasingly large proportion of our kitchen drinking vessels.

yann, if you're becoming the performance artist of the group, i better take up the banjo.

they've hollowed out the house that stood to the left of dukes. through it you can see the other house slated for destruction and the sky. a construction worker re-confirmed the going rumor that it will soon be a chipotle (next door to the existing qdoba).
