You can get an mp3 download link for NPR stories with this greasemonkey script.
i think npr does their podcasts horribly. they are terribly labeled. every once in a while, a fresh air will land named after the guests instead of the date. why don't this happen all of the time? often, I got files that were 30 sec long (that's dropped off considerably, thankfully). Also, sometimes they have the whole show, sometimes just the main interview. it baffles me.
yeah, but to be fair, I don't think that fresh air podcast is actually handled by NPR in the same way that other podcasts are.
at least it is excluded from this api.
reading through the docs, there actually seem to be lots of problems with this api, but there might be some fun information to play with anyways.
