San Fransisco city hall is getting its own editable edible front lawn. I guess its not related to Fritz's project, but it is similar idea.
Slow Food Savors Its Big Moment
To get things ready, the mayor let the group dig up the lawn in front of City Hall and plant a quarter-acre garden. It will be the centerpiece of the festival, ambitiously named Slow Food Nation.

LOL! Finally -- editable front lawns. We have long been stuck with the default value only.

No but seriously, that is a charmingly IA way to describe a new lawn that you can constantly change.

hey agata,

i just signed up for the times people. i'm onnyc. i added you already. I have a tendency to use webkit, instead of firefox, but there are more and more extensions that are pulling me toward firefox.

anyway, seeing their mock up, i thought their choice of buddy icons was funny:

extensions are what might push you back to safari... EXTENSION OVERLOAD!

I need one for my job tho, so I exclusively use firefox.

with both projects being open source, i'm surprised that no one is working on a fork of firefox with the webkit rendering engine under the hood. i guess webkit is just getting momentum now, but there have been calls for firefox to adopt webkit now for about a year.
