Have you guys tried mint.com? I just started an account but so far it looks great.

I tried a similar service called mvelopes that is based on the old cash-in-the-envelope system. That one was a little too much work for the price though, so I just applied the principles to an excel spreadsheet that I manage myself.
Is mint a free service?
hey eli, ya i looked into it too. It looks awesome. I haven't really used it yet, but i have been trying to get other people who need to do some money management to use it.
it is free.
This is RAD, thanks for the suggestion. Just discovered a $75 mis-charge...
I use it! It's awesome! the only thing I'm not crazy about is that it seems like I'm putting a lot of trust (all my banking credentials, basically) in a free application. that is not all that appealing to me. but so far the benefits outweigh my stress about it, heh
i'm pretty psyched about it, except that i wish that it would let you budget against an estimated or otherwise variable income... maybe we should move this thread to their message board?
I gave all of my bank information to an older website that did the same stuff, I can only assume that they are now defunkt and have drilled holes in all of their hard drives.
I hope.
I was really nervous about the trust issue too but it got so many awards and i heard the founder talk about it, and he seems like such a gosh-darn trustworthy guy!
