party shout

ta-henisi coates is now one of my new favorite bloggers (of course, that doesn't mean i always agree with him). he just started blogging for the atlantic. (okay, he's blogging a bit too much about football, which i don't care about, but whatever...)

ben and jerry's makes the most distracting wallpaper ever

your own personal nucular reactor. the same size as a hot tub, but hotter!

"i'll see you at the debates, bitches" paris responds to mccain's celeb ad.

this is a few days old, so you probably have all seen it, but here's adaptive path's interface for a future browser. i suppose it's snazzy, but is it a good thing that i had no idea what was going on until the voiceover kicked in? or maybe i'm too stupid for the future.

the tough job of a subtitler

if you are looking for a quick, free, nice-looking word count/word cloud, wordle is fun to play with. here's one of obama's berlin speech. this is another spin-off from the ibm group that did many eyes. wordle is not as informative as many eyes' word count, but it is prettier.

"forget the film, watch the titles" a collection of film title sequences. not especially extensive nor a pleasure to navigate, but... you know... um... you might like it?

i like the "no one will tamper with it, because it will be underground" or, in other words: terrorists? they can't dig, right?

onny posted 5 months ago

hahaha, also, when it goes critical, it will be close to the groundwater supply for more efficient poisoning.

hah. yeah, that reactor may be the sleeper weapon of the summer, leveled against an unsuspecting developing world.

this guy's got his priorities straight.
