OH, and any Project Runway Australia-ers here? It's really a lot of fun, like Strictly Ballroom meets....umm, Project Runway.
Eli swears he's not a fan -- especially with this season's contrived catch-phrases, etc. -- but somehow he always manages to make it to the TV in time for the judging. Of course then I paraphrase the first 45 minutes of the episode. The allure of Tim Gunn is a complicated thing indeed.
That's kind of understandable this season, there's a lot of posturing going on: Ego-Mormoniac Fringe Machine Keith, Faux High Fashion Daniel, Third Person Suede and Suckilicious.
The Aussie version is in its first season, so it's all bright eyed at this point. It doesn't hurt that they all have adorable accents and their models are wombats.
We'll have to download it. I do think they have scared everyone enough that they are working pretty damn hard and the quality of work has gone way up.
I try to snag an episodes of project runway whenever i am at brian's (me not having cable, or a tv for that matter).
But this means i end up missing a couple of episodes until i catch the reruns, which they show all the time anyways.
I think the retro flower-in hair girl kenley is quite a bitch, like the worst kind, the kind that pretends to be your friend and then gossips about you behind your back.
I think Jerell or Blayne should win.
And Keith has GOT to GO. Hate his stuff, don't understand why the judges like him.
Sadly season 6 of PR is gonna be very different i think.
