I'm remembering this from Animal Planet a few weeks ago around 1AM. Somewhere in the US these Japanese carp were imported to breed as cheap feed. Like always happens, a few got out into the local rivers, multiplied like crazy, and are choking out native river life. Every so often, there's a festival where people go out in boats armed with baseball bats, shovels, and, yes, even crossbows to kill as many of them as possible. I think the fish jumping has something to do with mating season.
Next, I'll take "Potent Potables" for $1,000 Alex.
