I did some googlesearching and found that this guy was a guest artist at my museum and worked with my boss a bit...I feel cooler now.
Okay, now I know what I wish I'd been doing with my life all this time. Woodworking & electromechanical musical equipment are the sister disciplines of the gods.
This guy really is a genius. A turntable powered by the ocean breeze?? I wonder how (or if) he stepped up the RPM?
It kinda reminds me of this guy who taught a adv. web languages class i took a year ago. But his work was much more about tech then craft.
