that "dimensions" video is one of my favorite animations of all time, i seriously think it's a work of deep genius. it's pretty old now but hasn't aged at all.
the TEI conference was good, although I have to admit I felt pretty intimidated by it all. There were so many über-geniuses there, and the Media Lab is just so a crazy place. I just didn't feel like I fit in. It did motivate me to get back to work on my projects harder than ever, though.
The workshop I did with Daito Manabe was kickass awesome. It was pretty painful to send electrical pulses into my face, but you get used to it after a while. We also used little sensors to measure the electrical impulses of our muscles and send them to Max/MSP, which I was using to build little eyeball controlled synthesizers and things. It was pretty amazing.
man, that IK code is uuugggglllllyyyy, but with enough tweaking I got it to look alright.
the extra code that I have to write to make up for the fact that I slept through trigonometry class is amazing. awe inspiring.
